MyRemoting - Sub-processor List
Version 2026.07 - Last updated: July 10, 2026
This page lists the third-party sub-processors that I Own Software LLC ("we," "Vendor") engages to help provide the MyRemoting Hosted Service. It is the "Sub-processor List" referenced by our Data Processing Addendum (the "DPA"). Where this list and a snapshot reproduced inside the DPA differ, this list governs the current specifics.
Self-Hosted / On-Premises deployments: we do not process your Endpoint data and engage no sub-processors on your behalf. The only data we receive from a Self-Hosted deployment is license Heartbeat Metadata (deployment identity, software version, and counts), which we process as an independent controller under our Privacy Policy.
Current sub-processors (Hosted Service)
| Sub-processor | Purpose | Categories of personal data | Location(s) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hetzner Online GmbH | Cloud infrastructure hosting the Hosted Service Control Server and storing Hosted Service data (with failover) | All categories processed in the Hosted Service (Operator account data, Endpoint inventory, session data and recordings, session audit logs, connection metadata, and agent-encrypted credential blobs) | Germany / European Union and the United States |
| DigitalOcean, LLC | Cloud infrastructure hosting / multi-provider failover | All categories processed in the Hosted Service | United States and European Union |
| The Constant Company, LLC (Vultr) | Cloud infrastructure hosting / multi-provider failover | All categories processed in the Hosted Service | United States and European Union |
| Twilio Inc. (Twilio SendGrid) | Transactional email and messaging (account recovery, alerts, notifications) | Operator name and email address; message content and delivery metadata | United States |
| Stripe, Inc. (controller-side billing; listed for transparency) | Payment processing for Customer billing. Card data is handled by Stripe under PCI DSS; we do not store full card numbers. This is our own controller-side billing activity under the Privacy Policy, not Hosted-Service processing under the DPA. | Billing-contact details and limited payment metadata | United States |
Session recordings, where a Customer enables recording, may be stored using object storage provided by the cloud infrastructure providers above, in United States and/or European Union regions.
Changes to this list
We will give affected Hosted Service Customers prior notice of any intended addition or replacement of a sub-processor as described in Section 13 of the DPA (currently 30 days' notice, by email to the Customer's designated administrative contact), during which a Customer may object on reasonable data-protection grounds. To receive change notices, contact privacy@iownsoftware.com.
This list is provided for transparency and to satisfy our DPA obligations. It is a template to be reviewed and kept current by I Own Software LLC.
